Cobb Symphony August 26, 2009

It is time to begin a new season! CSO Chorus comes together once again in just a few days, on Tuesday September 1st. It will be wonderful to see everyone again! We would particularly like to welcome our newest members: JoAnn Alexander, Joe Arnotti, Dana Baker, Barbara Berger, Noah Givens, Eddie Harmon, Randy Hart, Elena Lentz, Jo Lynne Mariolis, Karla Pearson, Eileen Ponich, David Pylate, Jessica Rowlison, and Sarah Scheibe. We are so pleased to have you with us!

The CSO Chorus will present a few additional opportunities this season to those members who would like to broaden their CSO Chorus experience. We are thrilled to establish the CSO Chamber Chorus this season, which will present two unique concerts on November 7th and May 15th. Auditions for this ensemble will be held on Tuesday evening Sept. 15th after CSO Chorus rehearsal. More information will be provided next week.

CarouselIn preparation for the Cobb Symphony Orchestra and Chorus un-staged production of Carousel in March, we will be holding auditions for a variety of solo parts. The auditions will be held on Tuesday evening October 6th at 6:00 pm (before CSO Chorus rehearsal.) We will make copies of audition excerpts available in the coming weeks.

The solos that will be auditioned are:
