Music Director's Corner

August 14, 2009

Dear Members of Philharmonia and Symphony Orchestra,

I hope you are all excited about the start of the up-coming year! You will be tackling some of the best literature in the cannon of symphonic works and you will be working with some of the finest artists in the southeast!

Part of your professional development is not only showing up to rehearsal prepared, but having the resources to show up prepared. Your music is ready for pick-up at our offices (between 9AM and 5 PM) or we can e-mail to you for you to print out. Simply let me know which is easiest for you and will ensure that you have everything you need.

Additionally, as you may have already seen, we have begun the CSO On-line Conservatory. Each week, there will be a featured video in your e-mail.  These will include interviews with the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra and Chorus Artistic Staff, discussions about music to lessons to interviews with guest arists, and I encourage you to take a moment and immerse yourself. It's such an exciting and accessible world - explore it, ask questions and actively engage with this growing community!

As always, if you have any questions or there is anything the Cobb Symphony can do for you, simply contact me at anytime and I will do my best to be of assistance.
