Welcome to
the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra and Chorus Program Brian Hermanson, Executive Director Hello. I'm Brian Hermanson, Executive Director for the Cobb Symphony Orchestra and Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra and Chorus program. I'm delighted to be with you this season and I could not be more excited by everything you have at your fingertips and the journey you are already beginning. With your Youth Orchestra and Chorus membership comes an entire world of musical exploration - A Season Ticket to all Cobb Symphony Orchestra and Chorus concerts; an opportunity to meet this season's guest artists and watch them in rehearsal; All-State Prep and other classes and programs through the Georgia Center for the Arts; and so many things on-line it's easier for me to say simply go the website and explore. Above and beyond all that though, what makes this program so special for me is that it places the life-long exploration of music and the arts as it's core focus. All of us are here to be a resouce for you. All of us are here to encourage your development in whatever field you may ultimately pursue. The exploration of the arts is rich with rewards, providing a limitless supply of nourishment for the soul. I encourage you to explore your experience and stay in touch along the way. Welcome! |
