Dear Philharmonia,

Simply stated, you guys are really sounding great this year. The artistic staff can hardly wait to hear your concert - in fact, it opens the GYSO&C season. Keep up the good work, and let me know if I can do anything for you.

Gustav Mahler's Second Symphony

This Saturday and Sunday @ KSU

Seeing a Mahler Symphony performed live is one of those landmarks in a musician's life. The sheer size of it is spectacular, not to mention the wildly imaginative sounds that you will hear coming from the stage. As always, students get free tickets to CSO events. So, the choice of whether to come or not really should be a "no-brainer." Simply email me to reserve your ticket. [Parents, friends and relatives: Tickets are only $15 - doesn't miss your opportunity to experience Mahler with your child!]

Program:
Mahler, Symphony No.2 "Resurrection"
Jana Young, soprano
Magdalena Wor, mezzo soprano
Cobb Symphony Orchestra Chorus
