Welcome to the Cobb Symphony Orchestra (CSO)

Ben Glosson -Tenor

Ben was born at an early age in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He grew up as an “army brat” around the world, but his family settled in Augusta, Ga. He became involved in the youth ministry at his church, singing with the youth choir and the church choir at Calvary Baptist Church of Augusta. His love of music spilled over into his college years at Truett McConnell College in Cleveland Ga. where he studied music under the teachings of Bob Snead and Katherine Logan. Ben has been a mechanical contractor for several companies in the Atlanta Metro area for about 25 years. In the past few years Ben took what used to be a hobby and turned it into a full time business and started Gentle Ben’s Massage Therapy.

As the owner of his own massage clinic Ben is able to spend more time with his children, cub scouts, foster parenting, woodworking, gardening and riding his red Honda Valkyrie. Ben has been singing with the Marietta Master Chorale under the direction of Jerid Morisco for the last few years. Ben joined the Cobb Symphony Orchestra Chorus because “Singing with a full orchestra in front of you is all inspiring. Everyone who loves to sing needs to try this.”
