I am a naturalized Southern citizen, having immigrated from New Jersey after college, married a Southern belle, received a green card, passed the test, and taken the oath. The son and husband of music teachers, I have played and read music since age 5 and sung in choirs since grade school, including touring the world with the Amherst College Glee Club in 1969. Besides singing bass with the Cobb Symphony Orchestra, I am a member of the Dekalb Choral Guild, which will sing in the Piccolo Spoleto festival in Charleston, S.C. for the fourth year in a row in 2008. In my other life, I have been a pediatrician in Sandy Springs for 27 years. My children have emigrated once again, to Charleston, Brooklyn, and Beijing. Luckily, my wife stuck around.
