A Floridian by birth with deep Georgia (pre 1733 ) roots, Wally Ziprik has lived throughout Northwest Atlanta since 1971. As a child, he was active in band, choir and scouts, making it all the way to Eagle Scout. Musically, he started playing the guitar in 1968 and began playing the piano the following year. He attended North Georgia College in Dahlonega, GA where he received a degree in accounting and a commission in the U.S. Army Reserve. He retired in 2002 as a Major, receiving a Meritorious Service Medal (MSM) upon his completion of over twenty years of reserve military service.

Wally is a believer if anything is worth doing, it’s worth doing really well. In 1986 he received his CPA certificate and has had his own shop in Cobb County since 1989, which has received numerous recognitions and accolades for its attention to detail. Since retiring from the U.S. Army Reserve, he has returned to college and has earned the designation to practice as a certified financial planning professional.

Married to Kimberly (Creighton) Ziprik in 2001, Wally resides in Kennesaw with his two (dog) kids, Major and Digger. He’s an avid outdoorsman and musician, whose other passions include (but are not limited to) fly fishing and wine tastings.
