Yvonne Toll is one of Atlanta’s premier trumpet players. She has been in high demand as a free-lance musician since moving to the area in1988. She received her undergraduate degree from North Park College in Chicago and her Masters of Music from the Eastman School of Music, where she was awarded the prestigious Performers Certificate.

Ms. Toll joined the Atlanta Opera in 1996 and was appointed Principal Trumpet in 1997. She has been a member of the Gwinnett Philharmonic Orchestra since it's formation in 1994 and was Principal Trumpet of the Rialto Orchestra and the Peachtree Pops. Ms. Toll often performs with the Atlanta Symphony and the Atlanta Ballet when needed. As well as performing symphonic work, Ms. Toll is often seen in the orchestra pit for various Broadway shows at the Fox Theater.

In addition to her performing schedule, Ms. Toll maintains a teaching studio of students ranging in age from 10 to 81. Currently she is serving as Instructor of Trumpet at Georgia State University. During the past several years she has also taught at Emory University, GA Perimeter College, Woodward Academy, Columbus University and Agnes Scott College. When not practicing, she enjoys biking, woodworking, rock climbing, triathlons, and playing with her dogs Josie and Scout.
