GYSO Jazz will be top-flight ensemble of 21 students led by jazz great, Sam
Skelton.
Opportunities for combo work within the ensemble will be available to
musicians who successfully make the cut.
GYSO Jazz Musicians will be treated as emerging professional musicians,
rehearsing only once a week for two hours.

Improvisation will be optional, though strongly encouraged. Choices "Watermelon Man" and "Bb Blues" from "Maiden Voyage" Vol. 54 of
