A lifelong Cobb County resident,
Susan Stensland is honored and excited to return
for another season working with the Cobb Symphony Orchestra. She strives to help build relationships and create possibilities for the symphony within a historic and thriving musical community. Prior to joining the CSO, Ms. Stensland worked as an accountant dedicated to serving local small businesses, and as a freelance artist. She has been an active volunteer in a variety of capacities for the Boy Scouts of America, multiple high school music programs and Odyssey of the Mind. Susan holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Art Education from Georgia State University, and is mother to three
wonderful sons, all Eagle Scouts and all students at or graduates of the Georgia Institute of Technology. Susan and her husband of twenty
nine years, Alan, reside in Kennesaw.
